Chinatown Summer Nights
Every Saturday night in August from 5pm – Midnight comes the Chinatown Summer Nights.
Part food event, Part street food trucks spot, and Part Party?! Yup! KCRW DJ’s will be playing sets in the Central Plaza from 8-11. The featured DJ’s are Raul Campos ( Awesome ), Anthony Valdez ( Dope), Jeremy Sole ( A must see), and Aaron Byrd ( Bitchin!). LITTLE TOKYO , J.ROCC , and Dublab. July 23rd, 7 pm
Coming up in a few weeks the Japanese American Culture & Community Center , Mochilla and Dublab are presenting free outdoor film screenings, live video mix by J.ROCC , and food trucks right in the heart of little tokyo in the cultural center plaza ( 244 South San Pedro Street Los Angeles, CA 90012) . Little Tokyo’s cultural center is going to have more of these amazing ideas and recently just had one with Yo Gabba Gabba. Here’s a little recap

The Eagle Rock Yacht Club, which I’m pretty sure does not have yachts, rocks, or eagles ( just saying) has started registration for the infamous dodge ball leagues. Starting June 23rd in Eagle Rock going on every Wednesday from 8-10 pm and June 24th in Venice Beach going on every Thursday from 7-8pm. And starting June 26th in Eagle Rock and continuing Saturdays 12-1pm and/or June 27th in Glassell Park and continuing Sundays 3-4pm for anyone who wants to take out some anger but can’t make the commitment & aren’t up for paying.
